Well, here we are, entering the season of complica

Well, here we are, entering the season of complicated families, consumerism, ceremony, and celebration!

Today I am celebrating time with family and also deeply honoring the memory of so many indigenous ancestors whose involuntary sacrifice helped create the celebration of Thanksgiving we have today in the U.S. This is a complicated holiday in complicated times; a potent reminder of the light and shadow inherent in all things.

Personally, I spent the holiday at a small family gathering in my hometown outside of Seattle, Washington. My daughter and I got to spend time with my dad and brother, and meet both of their girlfriends! Coming from a traumatic childhood with an alcoholic mother who died by suicide when I was 22 (and my brother was 12), family life hasn’t always been easy. Add to that my lifelong intuitive sensitivity and very “woo-woo” point of view, it’s been a challenge to be fully authentic with my family. I guess I’ve been a bit of a black sheep all might, and maybe you can relate to the feeling of needing to hide parts of who you are to feel safe...

However, today I am celebrating a moment yesterday when I found myself speaking freely about my Soul Alignment coaching work and how I am so passionate about helping people who are ready to connect more deeply with their Souls to understand and embody their divinity. I even shared how it felt awkward but empowering to share about my sacred work, and was encouraged by one of our young guests to “own it!” How encouraging is that!?

I also remember the look in my daughter’s eyes as I was speaking about this; it was a look of reverence and recognition, like she was seeing me be truly seen by others. What a magical moment!

If there is anything I’ve learned on this life’s journey, it’s that spiritual growth happens in stages. Once we get really in tune with who we are at Soul level, we can start to embody that in our day to day lives, even in some of our oldest and most challenging relationships. Authenticity is something that can be learned and cultivated, and expressing ourselves authentically is so rewarding. This journey is what I’m truly grateful for today.

There is no denying we are in a collective initiation and have been for several years. We are just getting to the juicy part, and energy is not about to let up now!

I have about a millions things to say on this Taurean full moon - it made a conjunction with my natal moon which means my being and especially my emotional body is amplifying this energy ten fold.

So many of us feel lost, or trapped, always lookin

So many of us feel lost, or trapped, always looking for that next step in the “right direction,” the way out, or through. We naturally seek safety so we look outside of ourselves for answers, not recognizing that it is in this moment we become lost.

We may create a vision or a dream and say “that is where I want to go. That is where it will feel safe, that is where I’ll finally get to be me. And when I get there, I’ll feel free.”

You travel outwards and as you do, you slowly lose sight of who you really are. You make choices that are incongruent with who you were made to be. This happens over a lifetime and through lifetimes, and pretty soon what feels like “you” is actually just a false trajectory you’ve created through choice that you’re stuck on like a hamster wheel because it’s what feels familiar; what feels safe.

Your mind forgets it’s Divine creative potential and you go on to live and die and largely create more of the same thing you’ve always created, always worrying “am I safe?” Sure, some things may change slightly, but ultimately that big vision you have for your life remains in the elusive “future.”

There is another way. A way of living true to yourself.

The first step to changing this pattern is acknowledging that you’re in it.

This can be the hardest part because your ego will do its best to convince you that you are on the path, that you’re doing things right, that it will all work out “eventually” as long as you keep ignoring those nagging thoughts and “stop doubting yourself.”

This is a nice sentiment that can keep us going for awhile. But what you really need to be asking yourself is - what do your results say? Now, today, are you creating what you want?

If not, I see you. I am you. And I would love to share the Divine reflections that I offer my 1:1 clients to help them realign with their Soul and step off the hamster wheel so you can start creating the results that you want.

This new moon is an initiatory portal through the shadows of your inner world, giving you the opportunity to see what is no longer working and clear out the emotional clutter that has been dimming your precious light.

Importantly, the Sun and Moon in Scorpio are directly opposed to Uranus in Taurus at 12 degrees. Uranus has been and will continue to travel through Taurus for several years, destabilizing structures and asking us to radically reform our values, our relationship to our bodies, and how we balance work with relaxation and self-care.

If any of these are areas you have been ignoring (your body, your values, your self care), you may find this new moon hits hard. Further, the quincunx with Chiron in Aries means that we could be pulled in two directions when it comes to our core wounds and shadows. One part of us might be eager to push through our healing in order to get to the next thing, while the other part knows that transformation is an ongoing process that cannot be rushed.

Despite these challenging aspects, ultimately I would call this a supportive new moon because of how it encourages us to engage in some much needed energetic clearing. In a time when so many of us are seeking greater clarity in all aspects of life, both personally and globally, we must remember that clearing the emotional and mental clutter we carry is key to creating the space necessary for greater clarity to shine through.

Today I slept till noon.

With my daughter suddenly in quarantine, me suddenly working from home again, whisked out of the routines we’d just established, financial stress, gloomy fall weather, and trying to be in multiple places at once just to get it all done…

It has been a rough couple of days. I’m grateful for those in the virtual spaces around me who have vulnerably shared their own Aries full moon initiations. I didn’t recognize the correlation at first, but this moon has definitely been bringing some big energy!

Whenever I see Aries I see an opportunity for starting over, for beginning anew. No matter if it’s a full moon, new moon, or the sun, there is a cycle starting over when Aries comes into view.

To me this energy has felt like a wrenching out of long buried shadows that don’t even seem to make sense in our current life’s context, and as such giving us an opportunity to see what behaviors and reactions we still carry that aren’t in alignment. We’re called to simultaneously accept and bring our full presence to these matters, while gathering our inner resources to inform new choices on how we want to move forward.

Aries, always, is about action. And when the moon is fully illuminated in this sign, we can see how our emotions can either sabotage or support our ability to be decisive in our choices, clear in our intent, and dedicated in our actions.

I know I have a lot of room to grow in this area. And instead of beating myself up over what’s not going right, I can put my energy toward integrating all these parts that are being calling into initiation. And I can share my process so that maybe you’ll be encouraged to do the same.

There is no destination.. Lately I’ve been noticing the language in social media content and emails from others in the spiritual growth and business space still using finite terms like “highest version of self” or “most aligned life.”

This got me thinking about how our spiritual learning and development, and really everything in life exists in a spiral. There is no destination, only the journey. And while most of us know this at some level, we can always deepen our level of understanding and embodying this truth.

In this live we explore the nuances of understanding how life is a constantly evolving journey, and touch on the importance of self-enquiry in deepening our spiritual knowledge and experience of inner and outer freedom in our lives.

Remember, your Soul is here in the physical to expand through possibilities. No matter what circumstances, challenging or exciting, you experience, there is always an opportunity for expansion.⁠

It is when we begin to notices these opportunities and possibilities that our lives can change in the direction we want to take them. It takes consistent action, which is a practice we must develop, but if we act on an ideal without recognizing, acknowledging, and accepting where we are now, we effective sabotage our efforts.⁠
⁠
That’s why vision work + consistent action + radical acceptance are all integral to creating change. If you want to transform any area of life, these three keys are essential. Practiced together, you become unstoppable.⁠

And for the radical acceptance piece, I find that celebrating our Soul’s unbiased desire to expand helps bring any problems that feel big to me into the context of the whole human life experience. It’s just an opportunity for me to choose to expand into something new.⁠

Card reading from the Goddess on Friday the 13th!. Today I was inspired to channel a message with the Goddess who is calling us into deeper healing within ourselves and for our world.

Friday the 13th is a sacred day representing the Goddess, and though I have much more to learn of it’s significance, I definitely felt Her presence in me today. I actually forgot what it felt like to be in the luminal space channeling a message like this one, so while it mind wind and weave a little long, the medicine here is potent indeed.

We are called to utilize our mental awareness to engage in deeper inquiry of our own personal triggers and worries. The first step to healing is to recognize something is bothering us, and then to get curious about where it comes from.

The truth is that most all of our personal individual beliefs and fears are reflections of deep collective core wounds that the feminine especially is carrying. We have the ability to shift our current paradigm of disconnection with our planet and each other through becoming aware of and healing these ancestral trauma through our own bodies.

In doing this work, we reclaim our purpose to walk as divine embodied vessels of love.

Well, here we are, entering the season of complicated families, consumerism, ceremony, and celebration!

Today I am celebrating time with family and also deeply honoring the memory of so many indigenous ancestors whose involuntary sacrifice helped create the celebration of Thanksgiving we have today in the U.S. This is a complicated holiday in complicated times; a potent reminder of the light and shadow inherent in all things.
